Lawgistics Access In development

Legal experience should not depend on what you can afford.

Unpaid experience, interstate travel, a suit that fits and a month without wages quietly decide who ends up with a legal career. We are building a programme to help students meet those costs, funded by lawyers and firms who remember what it was like.

Access is not a registered charity.

Lawgistics Access is in development. It is not a registered charity, it has no deductible gift recipient endorsement, and contributions are not tax deductible. Nothing on this page is a request for a donation. We are gauging whether there is enough support to build it properly, and if there is, we will take advice on the right structure before accepting a cent.

What support could cover

The costs that stop people, in the order they stop them.

01

Placement scholarships

The programme fee itself, in full or in part, for students who cannot fund it.

02

Flights and accommodation

The international costs that make an overseas placement impossible for most.

03

Unpaid experience

A living allowance so a student can afford to take an unpaid legal role at all.

04

Professional clothing

Court dress is not optional and it is not cheap. This is a real barrier.

05

Training

Academy access for students who cannot pay for practical training.

06

Mentoring

Matching students without professional networks to lawyers who have one.
